As you know, it's the general finnish mentality. We have a very few athletes that actually know their worth, or who are vocal about it....and usually those athletes get trashed in the papers for being "cocky", even if they were just realistic and honest.

When Tommi Evilä said that he is in shape to break the finnish national long jump record last season, and that he aims to be in top3 in some golden league events, finnish papers had polls about is he too cocky etc. He did everything he said he would.
