Plekanec: on a team that isn't mtl, he'd get selke talk.
Moen: more big bodies that can play mean the big bodies that can rly play don't get targeted.
Desharnais: he's a powerforward.
Kostitsyn: the only thing not to like is how badly he's been abused by fans and management.
those are the ones that people want to get rid of for no apparent reason (read, good return.. but there is a reason they would have good return). alongside the untouchables (Price, Subban, Pacioretty, Eller) and the core (Cole, Gorges, Markov, Gionta) we also have the decent role players: Gill, Gomez, Nokelainen, Blunden, Campoli, Kaberle, Weber.
out of all these players the only ones we should be talking about moving are Gill, Campoli, and Weber.
Gill's time is up with us, Campoli isn't the answer, and Weber is stuck behind too many other
Gomez is obviously a difficult trade, but even if we don't.. wow, if he isn't the best 4th line center in the league i don't know what to say.
With Gill and Campoli gone, Weber is no more stucked in the depth chart.
