Savard was 24/25 and making around $800K, and had just come off a 23 goal, 65 point year. Button may not have been a genius, but he wasn't an idiot either -- the market wasn't buying at market price for the reasons I'd just outlined. Explain to me how signifigantly different these two situations are? Hmm?
