And I'm just curious here, but how would dumping McAmmond at 1.5 be a budget cut when you are picking up Hurme at 1.1? I don't think 400K is going to make or break the budget in Calgary. Why not just deal away a pick or something else for Hurme?

McLennan also makes .650 a year that means a savings of over 1 million enough to give the Flames some space to trade for or sign more scoring.
