It's going to depend on the makeup of the team and how you all distribute roles and responsibilities. You could dump and chase but most often you'll find carrying it in to be easier, especially if those roles and such haven't been doled out. Having a good two-way game is VERY important. Not because it's necessary, but because most average teams don't expect (or play) one and it's just like having a major advantage.
