This is what I think will and should happen...

Making Keenan coach right now would be a big mistake. This team is just trying to learn a new system under a brand new coaching staff. Theyve worked since September to play under Sather's style. If you think of all the coaching changes this team has had since '94, theres nothing that makes me think that another one so early in the season would do any good. Doing something that drastic this early would be the ultimate admittance of guilt on Sather's part, and in reality, a waste of three months of preparation.

However, if by February its apparent that nothing has changed from the past 7 years and theyre struggling to get back to .500, then I wouldnt be surprised if Sather swallowed his ego, went back into the box with his cigar, and hired Keenan for the rest of the season in a last ditch effort to make the playoffs.
