That was horrible asset management.
Holding onto this scrub while waiting for his value to drop exponentially, was terrible asset management.
Look at the players we traded away leading up to the cup; two borderline hall of famers in Doug Weight (for Esa Tikkanen in 93) and Tony Amonte in March of 1994.
Without those deals, I doubt we win the cup.
The point is, I don't think Anisimov is worth much at all, so I'm not scared to trade him away for a guy like Prospal.
