Ya better check that again. Add the 2 overtime loses as loses (which they are) and we have the same record. We have 2 more points this year. Not very good. There is no positive to look at so far. I know everyone wants to say how much better we playing this year than the last six years but that is not what our record says. There is no such thing as a good loss. I am tired of hearing, "yea, but we played hard." That is a lot of nonsense. Sather says Rome wasn't built in day. I don't think it took 78 years though. This team has played inconsistant hockey for the last 78 years. We only have four cups to show for it. 4 CUPS!!! Montreal has 23 CUPS! The Islanders have 4 cups in four years! No excuses for this. Where is this rich tradition that they talk about? Where is this pride in hear them talk about? Where does this nonsense come from? A tradition in winning? BAHAHAHAHAHA! Messier was able to remove the excuses from that locker room during his first coming. Not this time. All I hear from Sather is how the refs are making bad calls. Well, the ref made a bad call when they gave Halavac a penalty shot. We still didn't win did we?
