Just started Rippetoe's Starting Strength:

Workout A
Barbell Squats 3x5
Bench Press 3x5
Deadlifts 1x5

Workout B
Barbell Squats 3x5
Overhead Press 3x5
Power Cleans 5x3
Chin-ups 2x10

I'd be jumping from program to program and not really sticking with it, so I splurged and bought a really nice squat rack and bench. I'm just going to build up a nice base of functional strength while eating as clean a diet as possible and avoiding alcohol.

I'm hoping to drop 20-30 pounds by summer time while either keeping or increasing my lean muscle mass a little bit. I figure since I'm basically "untrained" in terms of strength that should be possible.
