We're all different for sure, but the main constant is to always listen to your body and take care of it. That's not to say one can't lift very heavy and have no issues doing so, know what I mean. I know plenty of younger serious power lifters and bodybuilders who have more problems than plenty of other older ones I know. Whatever is best for yourself is always #1.
