Umm, a few games down the line? He's already made a few doozies, although his teammates have saved his butt those few times. To be fair, his mistakes are nothing that is unexpected given that he's a rookie d-man.

The (largely negative) reports from posters who have seen him play regularly in the AHL would seem to indicate that he has improved his game in the NHL. Maybe he just doesn't feel the need to "shine" like may have felt in the AHL, ergo he doesn't attempt the spectacular play all the time and ends up being a better player for it. Who knows? For whatever reasons, he appears to have dramaticaly cut down his mistakes and from what I've seen of him so far, I think he has earned a place with the big club for now.
