Ruutu doesn't have a Cup ring. He's only made the playoffs once, which was recently when Carolina made it to the conference finals and got swept by Pittsburgh in 2009. He had 4 points in 16 games.

I would be concerned about trading Kuba's defensive ability just as much as his offensive ability. He's a much better D-man than Allen is and toughness is a much lesser dimension in hockey than 'offense' or 'defense'.
