To bad he doesn't behave like Peter Forsberg

In all honesty, you can teach anyone to play defensive, but that scoring touch...that you cannpt teach. So, instead of paying him $2,025,000 a year, get a big man that can skate (Kilger?---$800K) and teach him the defensive game.

It is just bad decision making to pay a mid to low rung defensive forward over $2million a year. That line should be either journeymen (Vanallen $450k) or young big guys with limited offensive skills that you can teach to shadow guys.

This frees up money for the real $$ positions, top D man, big center, goalie (that we have).

Teams should put qualifications and dollar figures per position , then fill those spots accordingly. This is not something that you do overnight, but it is the way that a championship team is built...and then every player knows his responsibilities.
