He only left a couple of rebounds in the slot and smothered other body shots. He was seeing the puck well, good anticipation and body control and flat out stoned a couple of guys from the slot. That's what was disappointing, he played good enough to win but gave up two soft goals.

In the shootout:

Pierre Parenteau Goal -- Glove side high
Dustin Penner No Goal -- Glove side miss wide
Joel Perrault No Goal -- Glove side save high
Ryan Shannon No Goal -- Glove side miss high
Aaron Gavey Goal -- Stick side low corner off a shoulder deke

They set him up with 4-shots to his glove side high then finished it at the lower stick-side post...
