I don't buy that.
If the system was such a problem. Players like Penner and Stoll in (Contract years). Would be asking for trades out of LA.
Cause it is ruining any value those guys have. Penner especially. By staying in this system Penner is costing himself Millions on his next contract(if that were true).
Ditto for Stoll. Maybe those two guys just don't care.
But Jack wouldn't have signed here probably. Drew would have wanted a trade as well. Justin would not have signed an extension.
I think it's more than just X's and O's.
