This is an example of how it's just so important to have good coaching and development within the organization. This is a guy who was outcast from the worst team in the league and the team with the worst GAA in the Western Conference by far this season. At first you say, "they really could've used Stralman." And then you realize that even if they still had him, they wouldn't have molded him into what we see every game. Columbus development of defensemen has been notoriously bad for years.

Stralman's potential was always there. Good on him to be receptive to coaching and for his hard work. Great on the coaching staff to bring out his best.
