It's always confused me that Pat LaFontaine isn't in there yet. I'm pretty sure there was mention of an Islanders Hall of Fame when they had Pat LaFontaine night a few years ago but I could be wrong (anybody else remember this?). I think ya gotta put Butchie, Chico, Billy Harris and John Tonelli in there but as far as the bad years go, I'm of the opinion that they shouldn't go completely overlooked. I was stoked that they put KJ in and I think players like Turgeon and Palffy should get in as well. I also feel players like Derek King, Claude LaPointe, and Steve Webb should get in there eventually and (I know this won't make me too popular) but I feel, years down the road, you should put DP in there. He's an historical bust by most standards but when you look at his career from an unbiased perspective, he's one of the best regualr season goalies in Islanders history. Of course, I'm not advocating his addition until years down the road. First he has to retire... like now.
