He has a $6.5 M cap hit this year and next, but only makes $3 M next season, potentially making him very attractive to a team trying to reach the cap floor this summer. Bringing him in may require some cap creativity.
He seems like a declining/injury-prone top pairing defenseman who could be had for a pretty cheap draft pick (the quote I heard was that Ducks weren't going to "just give him away"). What do people think about him?
I would be very intrigued.
