These are the type of realistic deals we can make , where salaries and
components aren`t far fetched.
I've been an advocate of Wiemer for a few years now, and I would very much like to see him on Montreal's third line. The problem is that we have a glut of overpaid forwards we don't need and that the NYI do not need. Before these boards got nuked, I asked people on the NYI forum what they'd want for Wiemer, and I recall that a large number of people were saying a young stud d-man, a la Komisarek or Hainsey. Personally, I think that would be a serious overpayment, but if we could manage to get him with something less (Kilger and a pick, perhaps?), I think BG should look into it.
