Pretty much the chapter in the goalie textbook of what not to do on a breakaway.

No way that goalie should have been that deep in his crease. As soon as the player took control of the puck the goalie should have been well in front of the top of the crease. He gave the player way too much time, but even if he started at the top of the crease he could have excecuted a hard poke check instead of just letting the player make his moves.
