Yeah.. grossly calculated that the Hawks are spending about $77 mil in real dollars.
$59ish in cap dollars... but the dead salary as well as the frontloaded contracts, Rocky is dishing out pretty huge this yr already.
Huet and Olesz are part of that number, so bringing Olesz up after the season wouldn't effect the bottomline. Cap yes, but not the real dollars already being spent.
And i don't think Huet has to clear waivers since he's on loan and under contract... but i'm not sure. I know any signing of a player from oversees gets put thru waivers.. ala Nabakov, Svatos, and Wellwood of the last couple yrs...
Huet may be a different case because of the loan factor...
