A players value varies depending on the team making the offer for him. All I was saying was that in my opinion Carter is much more valuable to the Leafs because we need a C not a RW to play second fiddle to Kessel.

But if this was back in the Sundin days, when we didn't have any good wingers, I would value Nash higher than Carter. If the whole league thought Nash was a better player than Carter (which apparently is the consensus) I would still prefer we went after Carter because Nash is not what the Leafs need most.

All you seem to want to do is nitpick my posts. Instead of adding to the conversation.
How about you try and form an opinion? Who would you rather have as a Leaf...Nash or Carter?
