1. In the budget workshop meeting video, the Scruggs twice mentions something about needing to still find another $5,000,000 to satisfy the NHL and not sure where they were going to find it. Thanks for posting this. Pretty interesting. Sadly I could see myself watching this over President's Day.
It is interesting there was no escrow. Maybe they were too broke or something and couldn't do it. Last year the funds for the escrow came out of a one time item related to a settlement on a parking lot deal (forget all the details, but they didn't actually take $ out of a fund... they used found money).

Whoops!
So with the $27 million deficit and the $5 million that they need to find for the Coyotes, the hole is $32 million (56:50), or about $320 per household.
