This team was built from the goaltender forward, with team defense coming first and relying on all four lines to contribute decent ice time (at the very least). Furthermore, they are not a puck possession team. It seems like they more than willing to let the opposition play the perimeter in their own zone in order not to miss assignments or break defensive structure. This has the effect of forcing low-risk shots or the puck not getting to the net at all.
It's a stupid comparison.
