David Poile on the radio

Poile was just on 104.5 and had some interesting comments.

Praised Erat's work but said, all that work, very little results. Said that about the whole team. Said if we could have found a way to score, we would have beaten both Dallas and Chicago.

Said that in about a week, expect us to lose 1 dman. Says Brookbank, Kloucek, and Allison are getting the short end of the stick PT wise. Said he knew Brookbank would get picked up off waivers.

Said Cliff Ronning doesn't appear to be a viable option. Talks with his agent haven't gone anywhere.

Arkhipov and Legwand need to step up. Legwand played well the first 4 or 5 but was a little snakebitten. In the last few games, he hasn't created nearly as many chances.

Said Vokoun isn't seeing the puck as well as he'd needs to. Said he hasn't played bad, but that some games, the other 'tender plays just a little bit better and that's the difference in the game.

Said the refs blew the calls on Tootoo and the last 5-3. Said Jovanoski got baited the ref into that call. The ref was going to call Jovo and Jovo looked at the ref and the ref decided on the diving. Said the call on York was b.s. and that likely that just being stars, not necessarily playing like them, won Vancouver the game.
