I'll be spending next weekend in Montreal and I am planning on checking out the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada game on Friday night (2/24).

Their website appears to be a French only site and google does not seem to be able to translate it.

For those familiar with the team: would I be able to purchase tickets on game night at the arena? Do they usually sell out Friday home games? Which seating area will give me the best bang for my buck? Seat recommendations? Anything else a New Yorker should know before attending the game?

Go Armada!
I went to the opening game and it was sold out, but I doubt any games are sold out on a regular basis. I was there to watch them play the Olympique as a friend of mines brother plays for them. I had seats in the first row right on the corner and people like to travel in front of you because of the terrible design of the building.

You can buy tickets the night of the game, the building is really small and the tickets aren't expensive. You should be able t get any tickets you want. Not speaking french may make it hard, but I am sure some people will speak english.
