You forgot to mention D'agostini an NHLer for Palushaj who is looking more and more every day that he is an AHler for life. Trading Sergei at his lowest value was bad but then not even getting a bag of used pucks.
Trading O'Byrne and then a few weeks later needing to shore up the defence. He got Bournival in the trade but today he is still 2-3 years away from playing in the NHL. Even when Gauthier makes a decent trade it shows he doesn't have a finger on the pulse of his team. If he was a half way decent GM he should have realized he had depleted his prospects and needed a prospect in the O'Byrne trade that was closer to entering the NHL.
Starting this year with Weber, Diaz and Campoli on defence and when he found that defence wasn't soft enough he went and got Kaberle. Although I thought the Kaberle trade was a good one, you don't put him on a defence that already has Weber, Diaz & Campoli.
A few weeks after the Kaberle trade he admits to the press that we need to get bigger.
The man, like his mentor Gainey, has no vision. He stumbles from one disater to another.
