Well let's be real here. It's all an "if" game at this point. However, I just get a little tired of seeing the same reasoning for the anti-player acquisition crowd every time a player comes on the market.
- "What if he caves to the NY pressure?"
- "What if he can't replicate
here what he did
there?"
- "He's just not that good! He's never led his team anywhere!"
Nothing is a guarantee, but it's far more likely he comes to NY and continues his 35-40 goal scoring ways or
improves, than it is that he caves to the tremendous pressure of being on a team that, despite being #1 in the conference, can't even get a back-page on any of the local news papers.
