This is sad.

But for those saying depression, while it is possible, lets not jump into self diagnosis.

He is suffering SEVERE Post concussion Syndrome. That runs its own course. He could very well commit to these events as a goal, "Maybe I'll feel good enough that day to attend", and then he doesn't. He doesnt need to announce everytime he doesnt show up somewhere with an explanation.

I imagine he has sensitivity to light, sound, movement, balance issues im sure. If you think he'll be back for the playoffs with the current state of his injury you are delusional, and it doesnt take a doctor to tell you that.

I think a more realistic goal is regain a good state of life and lifestyle that he no longer experiences. A miracle IMO would be skating or even intense workouts let alone getting on the ice again.
