You can only consistently get "playoff mode" JVR if it is always a "playoff atmosphere".
In the meantime, for most of the regular season, I would expect JVR to get continually better. (injuries aside)
His big games will always be at a higher level, though. He just seems to be that kind of player so far, and it isn't really a question of effort or physicality, but more of an "intangible".
