He is, at 42, still better than Hudler or Williams, and THAT is the bottom line! He is the best short passer in the NHL, and has yet to make a mistake with the puck that leads to a chance for the other team.

I would trade nearly anyone to get him back, if only to help be a "bench coach". If he chips in 8 goals and 30 assists, he's done better than his replacements!
