Disregarding the CBJ game since not many players were good that night.
Detroit offers different challenges than most other teams. It's hard to say. It would be easier for me to see if they use him right up to Havlat's return.

He could be a tweener if he learns more about taking his shots. At least he is consistently getting shots which is a good sign. A lot of callups don't figure how to get open consistently (watch the shot count even on 4th liners). He does help with the cycle for zone time so that he does get opportunities.

I don't think he is really ready for post-season, but he does look like he will meet the potential to be better than Ferriero and Mitchell. Better IQ.
