Korpikoski had 2 years of professional experience in the AHL before playing in the NHL. Kreider has 0 experience and the organization isn't going to use the playoffs to find out if he's ready for professional play.

The situations aren't even remotely comparable. No matter how much you want it to be true, it won't happen. Kreider will NOT play for the Rangers this year. Get over it.
