If you watch the games, you notice that it's not the former (that's the key word you were missing) AHL guys that are playing poorly, its the guys that shouldn't be in the QMJHL that are hurting us eg Brashear, Savage, Therien, Stevenson.

it's funny how bad we need Siedenberg and Sim right now. Clarke can pull off some amazing trades but he also knows how to give players away. Then again, maybe we'll get lucky and use that 6th rounder we got for Sim to draft a superstar like Chris Therien or Donald Brashear.

While I'm ranting, let me throw this in too: Why don't we spend less time doing team bonding tricks (it doesn't make sense because the team doesn't stay together anyway) and start doing things like stretching and practicing on shooting, passing, checking, positioning, etc. If we are going to do team bonding, maybe we should make some lines in which the players play well together and keep them together because they will only get better eg.(Carter, Umberger, Eager) (Richards, Knuble, Sim) oops too late for that one.
