It appears we're sharing a brain. I too will always give priority to the quality of the on ice play rather than the win in the end. If you prefer the win but fall asleep half way through the game (like that boring previous game), then stop watching the games all together and just check the scores in the paper the next morning.
Edmonton is a team 100 times more exciting to watch even though they're not winning much more than the Habs. Still, win or lose, they let you with the feeling at the end of the game that they gave you your ticket's worth. In Montreal, it's the opposite.
