Oh rly? And what magical market would that be? Ottawa has had the smallest Canadian corporate base since inception given the government presence in town. Government workers can't write these tickets off as business expenses and there hasn't been a lot of corporate support since the tech crash. Unsurprisingly, Ottawa is still in the NHL.

The article says that the Ontario Government on average spends 15 million due to the break. How much of that do you really think is going into Senators ticket holders pockets? Think about how much MLSE, the OHL, and CFL take of that alone before considering the Sens. Ultimately the 2-3 million won't make much of a difference. A few home playoff dates and price adjustments will offset those minor loses that.
