He actually engaged Iginla physically at the right time, lost a step to him in the collision (it's Iginla), and still at least managed to recover enough to make Iginla take the puck to the front on his backhand with no straight lane to the net. Or at least, there shouldn't have been a clear lane to the net (hrm... Emelin). Nor should Plekanec have had to chase Iginla 1-on-1 (hrm... Weber). Price is a big strong guy too, though. Simply putting the paddle down and poke checking Iginla a bit (since Emelin DID have the guy in front at least) could have broken the play up in the end.
