I like that Cooke gets almost exactly 30 points every season as a Pen. He has 31, 30, 30 and 27 this year so a good shot at landing right at 30 again. Fun with numbers.

Still can't believe that the NHL hasn't put two and two together yet. One player has been heavily disciplined in terms of suspensions for head shots and has completely eliminated that aspect from his game yet NHL continues to hand short game suspensions and doesn't see improvement. The Rene Borque lack of big suspension on his hit on Backstrom was just unreal. A guy who was suspended a couple games a few weeks before delivers an absolute egregious hit on one of the best players in the league and gets 5 effing games. That was the point where it became clear Shannahan is just as big as a joke as Campbell. I still can't believe that ruling, utterly unbelievable, what do you have to do get a serious suspension if such a blatant cheap shot by a recent offender is such a slap on the wrist.
