D Jordan Fransoo has no points and is even so far for the Victoria Royals as they trail the Vancouver Giants 1-0 through 1 period.
OHL
RW Stefan Noesen had 2 goals and an assist - all on the powerplay - and was -1 for the Plymouth Whalers in a 4-3 win over the Owen Sound Attack. The goals were Noesen's 36th and 37th goals of the season.
LW Shane Prince had a goal, an assist, 2 PIMS and was even on the night for the Ottawa 67's in a 6-3 loss to the Mississauga St. Michaels Majors. The goal was Prince's 42nd of the season.
*Prince and Noesen are now 4th and 9th in goals and 5th and 13 in overall scoring respectively.
QMJHL
C Jean-Gabriel Pageau had a powerplay assist, 2 PIMS and was -1 for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens in a 5-3 loss to the Victoriaville Tigres.
NCAA
CCHA
D Chris Wideman is the only remaining Senators CCHA prospect playing as LW Jeff Costello and his Notre Dame Fighting Irish were eliminated from the CCHA tournament yesterday. The winner of today's Game 3 between Ferris State and Bowling Green will play Wideman and the Miami RedHawks in the semis.
ECAC
LW Brad Peltz was again out of the lineup for Yale in their Game 3 against Harvard. Probably wouldn't have mattered as Yale is currently down 6-2 with about 10 minutes to go in the 3rd. With D Michael Sdao also out, looks like the Sens' ECAC prospects are done for the year.
WCHA
Nebraska-Omaha was elimiated from the WCHA tournament yesterday so D Bryce Aneloski's season is done. Ben Blood and the North Dakota Fighting Sioux advanced yesterday over Bemidji State so Blood is still in.
