I am glad to see Markov back and playing. But I don't understand why management would opt to let him start his season now? Coming off 2 back to back major knee injuries and with the playoffs seemingly out of reach, why wouldn't they just let him rehab instead of risking yet another injury?
At first look, I wonder if Timmins has a forward and defenseman ranked the same on draft day, they will now focus on the forward because of Markov's return?
