Score 25-30 one of these years? How does that help SJ? Thornton's prime years are NOW, why not surround him with now talent? Why go backwards?
And then why does everyone seem to want to trade Leopold? Why not keep him? I'm not intimate with the Flames starting lineup of late, but just because a guy plays on the top pairing doesn't make him a top pairing guy. The Rangers top pairing is Malik-Rozsival, and both are #4's at best.
I find it hard to believe so many want Leopold out if he's that good.
And for some reason SJ never seems to have trouble developing defensemen.
