i think its more like...which would you rather have.
like, 3 2nd lines, and a 3rd line, or more distinct differences in skill level.
you bring in Nash, and maybe next year the Rangers can look like..
Kreider - Stepan - Gabby
Hagelin - Richards - Callahan
Nash - Anisimov - JT Miller/Mitchell
Rupp - Boyle - Prust
throw out 3 lines that are all 2nd line type quality, without being elite.
Nash - Richards - Gaborik
yadda, yadda, yadda
would be interesting to see which one generates more wins.
