After the first minute or so, I concentrated on watching how Ortmeyer played. His first few shifts were a little tenative but then he relaxed and played a good game.

He was very responsible defensively, hit a few people and had a deceptively good wrist shot. Ortmeyer and Lundmark cycled well, were not afraid of going into the corners.

Even the Devil announcers (UUUGGHH) made a few comments about both. To paraphase

"I am not the coach of the Rangers but Lundmark should be getting more time, he is quick and trying out there"

"The way Ortmeyer is playing he might not go back to Hartford"

These might not be the exact words but they are the gist of what was said.

Also I like the way LaCouture has stood up for his teammates.

By the way Ortmeyer had almost 11 minutes and Lundmark had over 12. They provided energy every time they were out there.
