I wouldn't be mad if he was offered another contract but it seems like he's the type of guy you make a deadline move to replace if you're planning on making a serious playoff push. He mostly sat when the Hawks did their cup runs. Why not just sign that deadline acquisition in summer instead of trading a mid round pick for one?
Exactly. I think Fraser plays admirably but he IS a dime a dozen player who doesn't really have any type of desirable skill that makes him a must sign.
I mean people are still saying the Jury is out on Stoll JUST because of his faceoffs. And Stoll has been brutal **** all season. Yet there is still talk of keeping him because of a single skill.
