Either way, the Canadiens have once again benefited from having an abundance of cap space available at a time when other teams are being forced to dish off somewhat valuable pieces. Betts is a valuable addition, especially in Montreal, as he immediately steps into a role that needed reinforcement, precisely what he is best at.

What is posted above reveals a little bit about the author of the Carrierre love piece...............Steven Hindle.

Its from October 2011.

Hindle loved the Campoli signing as well as the Blair Betts signing. And now people are intrigued about Larry because Steven Hindle thinks he would be a good GM.

Turd article from a turd writer who obviously does not know much about what is a great player or a great GM.
At the time i loved the Campoli signing as well. You can not predict how a player will turn out. I would've loved to have Betts in the line-up as well.
