I've read a couple of scouts who make that reference to Pelle Lindberg, too. You've obviously seen Lundqvist play in Sweden. Tell me, do you think he has the chance to be better than Pelle?

With regard to this season, I know Lundqvist put in his share at the SEL and then follow-up tournaments, but at 23, this is still going to be his longest season ever and in a new environment with a new style of play. I suspect Ranger management would be happier if he took the time off, because it's now clear that Weekes is no longer New York's #1 goalie. Lundqvist will have to carry the team, and if it's a dogfight with the Flyers for the division, Lundqvist will be playing a lot.
