I would have thought that after last season, but the advantage Noesen has is he really plays a terrific bang and crash game and is great in the corners. Not to mention he has probably shown a bit more at the CHL level now with a terrific Plymouth team where is their leader. He is a candidate to play on the bottom 6 next year, or the year after with the Sens, where as Puempel, who is probably underappreciated as a two-way player, is still more of a pure skill guy and will likely be better off getting more icetime on a scoring line with an elite playmaker of sorts, rather than sitting in our bottom 6 and playing 8-10 minutes a night of crash and bang. I think Noesen is more likely to hit the NHL sooner, although Puempel might crack our top 6 sooner. Just a guess, as development of these teenagers isn't really linear.
