of course it's a little easier to love a team that tries but whose talent level is lacking. it's also easier to love younger players and to feel jaded by bad luck.

somehow the image of cablevision, corporate policy and dollar $IGNS don't exactly stir up happy happy sunshine feelings about this team.

it has nothing to do with losing, it has everything to do with caring. this team hasn't even tried to rebuild {which as least cubs fans can enjoy}.

You ever see the espn commerical where they talk to a cubs fan and he explains why they are loyal? He mentions something about new rookies and the hope for next year.

Do you see what here? do you see a tomorrow? even if this team sneaks into playoffs, it'll feed sather's ego and this team could easily miss the next 4 years because lundmark, moore and company are gonna spoil.

if this team couldn't develope Lundmark and Moore the right way, i am hardly confident about their odds with jessiman. if jessiman makes it will be because dartmouth worked with him, not because this team has any clue what it is doing.
