I think what Sherman was trying to say is that people think the Jets overpaid for Tebow, and when you consider he was a 1st round pick just two years ago, it's not poor asset management by Tannenbaum.
I mean, i think the trade makes Denver look dumb more than the Jets. They traded a 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounder just to draft Tebow, then trade him for a 4th and 6th and pay 2.5 million of his salary.
Granted they got Manning so all is well in Denver, but I dont think the Jets acquiring Tebow was costly from an organization standpoint.
