Because no other team changes personal either, especially on the 4th line. Loads of teams also clearly think it's good, sound business to pay someone $1 million a year for 9:40 a game and one goal all season (none in 55 games).

Like I said before, if a player is an NHL caliber player, what Fraser brings should be the very MINIMUM we can expect from any player. Play less than 10 minutes a game, chip in a whopping eight points and win the odd face off while not looking total dumb out there doing it. We can replace Fraser for $750,000, whethe from within or from UFA.

Don't get attached to guys, especially interchangable pieces like Fraser. He's solid, I like him, but if he wants $1 million, I doubt he's back next year and go looking for that level of money elsewhere.
